Training for an upcoming spartan race, tough mudder, mud run or another adventure-related challenge? Strength for Life has developed an intensive 12-week long training program designed to challenge you in various ways to prepare you for the obstacles and sprints you will encounter, ultimately setting you up to crush your goals at your next event.
The program will consist of (2) 6-week phases.
Phase 1: Focused on building strength and endurance, this phase will prepare you for overcoming the strength-related challenges over the course of your race. There are a lot of factors to consider when training for an adventure race. You will likely be enduring obstacles, changing climates and even climbing through mud or over grease-slicked walls. These types of activities will require increased strength and grip and we will prep you will the necessary drills to overcome these hurdles.
Phase 2: We take you out of your comfort zone. Our goal in phase two is to push you past your physical and mental limits. With several obstacles to overcome during this phase, you will test your strengths and abilities and identify areas for improvement.
