Women Should Not Weight Train!

Women Should Not Lift Weights

Because:

Losing body fat and gaining strength is not important to me

The Self-esteem and confidence gained from weight training is overrated

Stronger bones and improved health as you age is a bummer

Spending hours on a treadmill is so much fun

I love when my metabolism continues to get slower each year

Back pain and poor posture adds to my quality of life

Having higher risk for diabetes and heart disease is something to look forward to

I still believe the myth that I will bulk up if I lift a weight

I believe I am too old even though weight training benefits people in their 90’s
